Oh, I hear ya! But you know what? it was 1970...and the afro was in (for both black men and black women). She could have had a 'fro and looked just fine.
I just don't think the blonde wig was necessary.
It seems like she could have (and perhaps should have) just gone natural..and she should have taken the attitude like this.....Hey America!, Guess what? I am a black woman and this is my real black hair--and the color is real too! So there!
