My thanks to Soho and Rogue (post production) for agreeing to do this film regardless of budget prior to awarding job. Also photographer Gabor Jurina and make up artist Diana Carreiro who agreed to make it with me for nothing if need. Thanks to my friend who agreed to be the model in the ad. Thanks to Yael for shooting the action off the back of the 'Daughters' video. And thanks to Vapor music for the exhaustive music journey - (by Flashbulb in the end).

This made me cry. It's hard being a teenage girl dammit! :P We all know we shouldn't want to look like the people in magazines and most times we don't but sometimes you just wish you could. My dad sent this to me and I'm glad he did. I know I won't ever wanna look like someone in a magazine again.

I agree with MOMan. Self esteem is good, but hating on beautiful women or what's in magazines isn't going to give you any. I know girls who call pretty girls sluts and whores solely because they THINK the girls are prettier than them, because all the guys hit in them instead of her, etc.. If they only would learn to dress better, fixed their hair in a more attractive way instead of thinking "that's for sluts and whores" they would be just as attractive, if not moreso.

I think in this video it is mostly the photo editting that is the most wrong. I don't think it's bad to try and do your make up good and make your hair look pretty. but, when you start messing with the features on your face to move them to make you look better is where everyone gets the idea of how they think they should look, and thats what gets people self esteem down, its the things they can't control

This is true, we don't need some model or makeup company or magazine telling us what is beautufil. God made us all unique and beautuful in our own way and we are all covered in His fingerprints, we are valuable and loved and created exactly the way He desinged us to be, so never lower urself, remember that He loves you and that we are all so beautiful to Him.
